We are actively seeking to expand our
programming on the Wichita campus and are seeking a Vice Chair with
interdisciplinary skills to lead public health research and
service, addressing issues related to (but not limited to)
interventions or evaluation in public health, cancer control, and
health behaviors.
The Department of Population Health is a
leading research department at the University of Kansas and home to
nationally recognized educational programs. Our Wichita campus is
particularly well known for its research, service, and education
efforts related to cancer control, rural health, worksite wellness,
maternal and child health, public health, and health equity.
As part of our teaching mission for the
broader University, The Department offers a Master of Science in
Clinical Research (MSCR) degree, a Master of Public Health (MPH),
and supports elective and required courses in our School of
Medicine.
For clinical faculty, the position can
include clinical practice opportunities with an associated academic
appointment in one of our outstanding clinical departments.
