USA Department of History: African American History, Instructor Position 2021 Search

The Department of History at the University of South Alabama invites applications for a one­ year-only Instructor position in African American History to begin August 15, 2021, with the possibility of renewal for up to three years total. The successful candidate should be prepared to teach U.S. History survey courses in General Education and upper-division courses in areas of research expertise, as well as support the Department with historical outreach with local African-American community organizations. ABD or an earned Ph.D. in African American History or a closely related field is required. To receive full consideration, all application materials must be received by March 12, 2021.
