Job Description:

A full-time, administrative, Assistant Director of Student Activities & Orientation position is available. The Assistant Director of Student Activities & Orientation is an integral part of the office of Student Activities & Orientation staff, with specific responsibilities coordinating Greek life and student leadership programs, and supporting new student orientation programs. This includes advising and coordinating eleven national fraternities and sororities, Interfraternity Council, Panhellenic Council, and Order of Omega, as well as coordination of campus-wide student leadership programs and other leadership initiatives. Additional responsibilities include assistance and coordination with new student orientation, specifically orientation leader/coordinator selection and training. The Assistant Director may also assist with other areas of student activities and any other duties as assigned.


Requirements:

  • Master's Degree in Student Affairs, Higher Education, or related field.
  • 1-2 years of professional and/or graduate experience in Greek life, student leadership, student activities, and/or any related areas.
  • Excellent organization, communication, interpersonal skills, and sense of humor.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and evening and weekend hours, as required.
