Job Description

This position is responsible for producing multimedia content that will modernize and enhance current flight training support material. The position will utilize instructional design methodology applicable to flight training. The Flight Media 3D Specialist will possess in-depth knowledge of 3D modeling and animation software tools (specifically Adobe Suite and Autodesk Maya). Job duties will require fluency in Microsoft operating systems, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook/email, and Internet end-user applications.

This position reports to the Daytona Beach Campus and has a physical requirement to work on-site and is not a remote position.

Additionally, this position will be used to develop new forms of supplemental training aids, with special emphasis on internet based learning tools. The Flight Media 3D Specialist will also be responsible for creating materials that can be used for student and instructor recruitment, promotional videos, meetings, presentations, and any other department functions and/or initiatives.

1. 40% Developing and maintaining 3D models/animations for flight course support material
2. 20% Creating new instructor pilot recurrency training and in-service training material
3. 20% Producing 3D models/animations in support of educational and promotional videos for the department.
4. 10% Creating 3D models/animations for all department websites and other web based initiatives

1. Help standardize the use of 3D in presentation themes, department banners, posters, and other department media.
2. Assist in special department projects that require 3D content.

Qualifications

Experience/Skills:
In-depth knowledge of motion graphics and 3D modeling/animation software tools (specifically Adobe Suite and Autodesk Maya). Job duties will require fluency in Microsoft operating systems, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook/email, and Internet end-user applications.
Bachelor's degree preferred.
