Description

The Department of Nutrition and Health Science has a full-time tenure track position at the rank of Assistant Professor in Health Science. Primary responsibilities include teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in health science to include undergraduate courses in health education epidemiology and graduate courses in nutrition epidemiology, conducting scholarly research, and providing service to the university and profession.

Minimum Qualifications

A doctoral degree in Community or Public Health Education/Promotion from an accredited institution.

Authorization to work in the US

Employer will consider sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications

One (1) academic year of part-time teaching and research in Community or Public Health at the college or university level, gained concurrently with degree program or at any time.

Successful college or university teaching experience in courses such as Public Health Research Methodology, Health Education Epidemiology, and Nutrition Epidemiology.

Certified Health Education Specialist ( CHES )/Master Certified Health Education Specialist ( MCHES ) eligible.

A record of quality scholarly accomplishments, including refereed publications, presentations, and research funding
