Mount Aloysius College invites applications to join our Institutional Advancement team as a full-time, year-round Director of Alumni Affairs. 

The Director will lead alumni relations initiatives and be responsible to develop and manage a comprehensive plan, including initiatives, services, communications, and marketing to strengthen relationships between the College and its alums.  The successful candidate will enhance alumni communication and provide regular opportunities for alumni to connect with each other and the College community though a variety of in person and virtual events and meetings on Campus and in regional alumni markets.

The Director of Alumni Affairs is a non-voting ex-officio member of the Alumni Association Executive Board of Directors; and provides leadership and support to the Alumni Association in collaboration with the Executive Board. 

Institutional Advancement at Mount Aloysius is a comprehensive advancement services enterprise comprised of development/fundraising, alumni relations, granting writing & research, and related communications and events.  Our team’s mission is to build strong, lifelong relationships with Mount Aloysius College's constituents, match donors' interests with College’s needs and priorities, and secure the financial resources necessary to support the Mission of the College.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required.  Master’s preferred.  Five (5) to seven (7) years of progressively responsible administrative experience leading teams and managing complex projects or events.  Experience in higher education, fundraising, and working with volunteers a plus.  Excellent oral and written communication skills, listening and ability to build relationships across a diverse spectrum of individuals a must.  Proficiency with Microsoft Office Word, Excel and Power Point required; Experience with Raiser’s Edge database a plus.  Graduate of Mount Aloysius a plus.  Periodic work on evenings and weekends is required.
