Montgomery County Community College invites applications for Part Time Non-Credit Trainers for the College’s Nurse Aide Program for the Primary Nurse Aide Trainer position and the Assistant Nurse Aide Trainer Position. 

 
Primary Nurse Aide Part-Time Non-Credit Trainer

The Primary Nurse Aide Trainer is responsible for providing classroom, lab and/or clinical instruction. Selected candidates may work as Primary or Co-Primary Nurse Aide Trainer.

Primary Nurse Aide Trainer Qualifications

  • Minimum Associate’s degree required
  • Two years nursing experience in Long Term Care
  • NA Teaching the Educator (TTE) Certification upon hire
  • CHRI acceptable in accordance with P.L. 169 of 1997
  • Current RN license without limitations
  • BLS for Healthcare Workers Certification
  • Excellent communication, both written and oral required
  • Must be approved by the Pennsylvania Department of Education


Assistant Nurse Aide Part Time Non-Credit Trainers

The Assistant Nurse Aide Trainer is responsible for providing classroom, lab and/or clinical instruction and works under the supervision of the Primary Nurse Aide Trainer.

Assistant Nurse Aide Trainer Qualifications

  • Minimum associate’s degree required for RN. Minimum high school diploma/GED required for LPN.
  • Two years nursing experience in Long Term Care
  • Nurse Aide Teaching the Educator (TTE) Certification upon hireCHRI acceptable in accordance with P.L. 169 of 1997
  • Current RN or LPN license without limitations
  • BLS for Healthcare Workers Certification
  • Excellent communication, both written and oral required
  • Must be approved by the Pennsylvania Department of Education
