Position Summary:

The Computer Sciences (CS) department is seeking to strengthen connections to industry through a Capstone class in which industry-suggested projects are worked on by students in teams. The class itself is run by a lecturer hired from industry, and the latest in software development techniques are taught therein. This position is needed to build industry involvement for the next course offering.

This position will also be an instructor for the CS Capstone course at the appointment level of 53.4% during the academic-year semester the course is to be taught.

Degree and Area of Specialization:

Bachelor's Degree required.

Minimum Years and Type of Relevant Work Experience:

Course instruction experience required. Ten years industry experience preferred.

Additional Information:

There is a possibility this position can be extended in subsequent semesters to teach one or more of the courses listed on this PVL, or similar courses within the department. This position may become renewable if there is a need for an ongoing appointment.
