Position Summary
The ideal candidate should be comfortable in the diagnosis and management of a broad range of cases in surgical pathology and cytopathology.
Candidates will be required to perform all the duties of an attending pathologist, which include:
• General and subspecialty surgical pathology
• Cytopathology
• Select areas of laboratory medicine, and
• Autopsy pathology.
Interest and/or experience in head and neck pathology is desirable.
Pathologists additionally attend and participate in:
• Tumor boards
• Clinical pathology activities
• Residency teaching, and
• Medical/dental undergraduate educational teaching
Minimum Qualifications
MD, Board certified or Board eligible
Preferred Qualifications
AP/CP board certified; cytopathology board certified
