Assistant Professor: Eastern Illinois University tenure-track faculty position in the Department of Communication Disorders and Sciences. Commitment to student learning, academic and clinical instruction of undergraduate and graduate students in Speech Language Pathology. Duties include teaching, research, and service.
Qualifications: Doctorate in Communication Sciences and Disorders or a related field, and current ASHA CCC-SLP credential are required for tenure. Doctoral students who can work full-time at EIU and complete the degree prior to tenure will be considered. Prior clinical supervision of graduate students or CFYs, and/or university teaching experience is preferred. Area of expertise in adult acquired disorders and clinical experience in a medical setting is desirable. Demonstrated commitment to diversity and experience promoting inclusive excellence is required.
