Job Summary
JCCC is searching to fill our open Assistant Professor, Human Sciences full-time faculty position. The person selected for this role will be responsible for instructing students in Human Sciences lectures and labs, including, but not limited to: Human Anatomy, Anatomy and Physiology, Human Physiology, Pharmacology and/or Pathophysiology.
Required Qualifications
Master's degree with 18 graduate credit hours in Biology
Successfully completed undergraduate or graduate level coursework in human anatomy and physiology
Two years of college-level teaching experience in Anatomy, Physiology or related discipline
Computer literacy including the ability to communicate, develop teaching materials and enter grades electronically
Demonstrated familiarity with the use of appropriate computer software
Demonstrated fluency in written and oral communications
Preferred Qualifications
Doctorate in Anatomy, Physiology or closely related discipline
Two years of community college teaching experience
Experience teaching both lecture and lab for Human Sciences courses
