Assistant Professor of Cybersecurity

Oregon Tech is seeking applications for an Assistant Professor of Cybersecurity in the Management Department. This is a 9-month, full-time position located on the Oregon Tech campus in Klamath Falls, Oregon. The successful applicant is expected to: To build curriculum and labs in support of Oregon Tech’s networking and cyber security programming, work with local economic development efforts to identify initiatives and grow technology infrastructure within the local community, establish industry relationships in support of student projects, and internship experiences, and engage in scholarly activities aligned with their professional goals. Primary teaching responsibilities for this position include all levels of networking and cyber security instruction with some online courses required in load. Required:  Ph.D. in Cyber Security, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline. Evidence of prior teaching in higher education in networking and/or cyber security and/or five years relevant industry experience in applying a systems development methodology to technology projects.
