Assistant Professor

The Belk College of Business at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professor position in Marketing. We will consider strong candidates conducting research in all areas of in Marketing, but preference will be given to candidates strong in Marketing Analytics using econometric and statistical methods.
We are looking for a diligent and collegial academic with records of strong scholarship and excellent teaching who are committed to supporting the College’s mission as a major urban research business school. A Ph.D. in Marketing or closely related field from an accredited school is required. A strong commitment to excellence in high-quality research and teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels is expected.
The teaching load will be 2-1 until conferral of tenure and salary are competitive with similar positions at other research universities. The starting date will be August 2021. The position is contingent on final budgetary approval. Applicants must be able to meet AACSB’s accreditation criteria for this position.
