Olympic College is recruiting to fill the position of Director of Safety and Security. This position reports to the Vice President of Administration; it is a key divisional executive responsible for the Division's overarching goals of creating a great place to work, learn, and grow. Specific responsibilities include protecting and safeguarding the students and employees of the college and college assets. The Director coordinates and manages the day-to-day safety and security of the college in addition to responsibility for mandatory state and federal reporting regarding security and safety for three campuses including Bremerton, Poulsbo and Shelton. Working closely with the Senior Facilities Officer to ensure a safe and secure campus environment for all students and employees, this position is responsible for Security & Parking, Environmental Health & Safety, Access Controls & Security Systems, and Emergency Management. This position supervises the exempt and classified positions responsible for the day-to-day management of these functions. The Director of Campus Safety and Security works closely with other senior leaders to ensure a collaborative approach in identifying and solving campus challenges.
