Position Summary:
The Coordinator of Events & New Student Orientation facilitates planning and execution of on-campus and off-campus recruitment events as well as New Student Orientation. The incumbent plans, coordinates and implements all aspects of Admissions recruitment and orientation programs in collaboration with stakeholders across the university. Duties include reserving facilities, managing resources, tracking registrations, training and supervising student staff, and orchestrating support for and execution of scheduled events. The incumbent serves as a member of the Welcome Center operations staff. The position works in close collaboration with the Director of Conferencing and Events in support of all activities to promote EKU to prospective students.


Minimum Education:
Bachelor’s degree in related field required. Masters in Higher Education or related field is preferred.


Minimum Experience:
Three years of experience working with new student programming and event execution is required.
