The Music Department at Hillsdale College is seeking candidates for a full-time Artist/Teacher of Music in Collaborative Piano, beginning August 2021. Primary responsibilities will include collaborating with music department faculty in various performances, maintaining a private studio of undergraduate piano students, and organizing/assigning student accompanists. Other responsibilities may include accompanying one of the college choirs, playing for selected music students in recitals and auditions, and teaching courses in the candidate’s area of expertise.
A master’s degree in either collaborative piano or piano performance is required; doctorate, or equivalent professional experience, preferred.
