James Madison University (JMU) School of Nursing invites
applications for three 10-month full-time positions that will begin
on August 25, 2021, and we have a commitment to diversitying our
faculty with these positions. The School of Nursing, (SON)
offers CCNE accredited Baccalaureate, Masters, and
Doctorate of Nursing Practice programs. Teaching responsibilities
will be based upon the qualifications of candidates. Three years of
clinical experience in Adult Health and/or Community Health Nursing
is preferred for these tenure track positions.

Duties and responsibilities for the position include clinical, classroom, laboratory, and other teaching assignments related to adult and community health. Professional, school and university service, and scholarship are additional expectations.
Qualifications for this position include the following: Doctorate in nursing or related discipline and three or more years of clinical nursing practice experience in Adult Health and/or Community Health nursing (preferred). Will consider a competitive applicant with a Master’s Degree in Nursing who is enrolled in doctoral program and nearing completion. Other requirements include RN registration and eligibility for Virginia nursing license. These are Tenure Track (TT) positions. The successful applicants
