About the Opportunity:
The College of Science (COS) seeks to hire a Digital Media Manager to join the Marketing & Communications team within the Office of the Dean.

The Digital Media Manager's responsibilities will include: 1) Development and management of all COS digital platforms including the College website, social media platforms, and email marketing with the goal of maximizing the impact of these tools as they pertain to awareness and engagement of the COS brand and mission among our target audiences, 2) Develop original social media content and lead, manage and edit contributions from other members of the Marketing & Communications team, 3) Create and manage an editorial content calendar designed to maximize impact to internal and external College audiences, 4) Collect, analyze and report engagement data from various digital platforms in order to inform strategy for future outreach, editorial content and ongoing communications from the College, 5) Provide administrative oversight and subject matter expertise for internal digital platforms such as the Intranet and Student Portals; partner with College administrators to ensure content is appropriately organized and managed, 6) Partner with the Director of Marketing & Communications to effectively support enrollment and recruitment efforts within the College as they pertain to digital platforms.

Bachelor's degree required. At least five to seven years of experience in communications, marketing, and/or related field required. Strong working knowledge of content management systems, social media platform management, email marketing platforms, key engagement and performance metrics including Google Analytics, and search engine optimization required. Demonstrated ability to create and manage original short form content across appropriate platforms for maximum impact. Strong project management, problem solving, and organizational skills required. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to manage multiple competing priorities and deadlines necessary.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in HTML, marketing automation and customer relationship management systems, and adobe creative suite a plus.
