DEPARTMENT OF PSYCHIATRY, UNIVERSITY OF MARYLAND SCHOOL OF MEDICINE, BALTIMORE

The University of Maryland School of Medicine, Department of Psychiatry, is seeking a qualified psychiatrist with an academic interest for our newly established Director of Psychiatric Emergency Services position serving our Downtown UMB and Medical Center campus. The position includes administrative and clinical work within our Psychiatric Emergency Department and serving as the Medical Director of our Psychiatric Assessment and Referral Center. With current departmental expansion, there are tele-mental health and collaborative care opportunities as well. The position carries a faculty appointment at the University of Maryland School of Medicine and offers exciting opportunities for clinical care, teaching and research. A departmental mentoring program is available to all new faculty. Candidates must be ABPN certified or eligible. Academic rank and salary are commensurate with experience. Expected rank is Assistant Professor or higher; however, rank and tenure status is dependent on candidate’s qualifications. Send letter of introduction and CV to: Jill A.
