Under general supervision ensures that all students are aware of the student code of conduct. To hold students accountable for their actions and adjudicate any misconduct on or off campus that affects the campus community.

Essential Duties Summary

• Administers student disciplinary procedures.
• Maintains confidential database records of student conduct cases.
• Trains individuals who serve as hearing officers.
• Serves on campus-wide committees related to sexual harassment, alcohol/drug abuse, crisis intervention, and other student conduct related issues including but not limited to the CARE Team, Title IX Committees, and Clery teams. May conduct investigations of Title IX and DHR (Discrimination.
• Harassment, and Retaliation) complaints in accordance with campus and system-wide policies and procedures.
• Works closely with many offices on campus during preliminary and/or official investigations of student conduct.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Hiring Range $48,273.00 - $60,341.00 Education

Bachelor’s degree or higher. Master’s degree preferred.

Required Licensing/Certification

Valid Texas Driver’s License preferred.

• Student Conduct has a lot of legal implications that one must understand in order to operate in this position. It takes an understanding of the policies and procedures and how they apply to certain cases.
• Microsoft Office Professional or similar applications.

Work Experience

One (1) to three (3) years working in a college or university setting with experience in student conduct and/or restorative justice. Comparable graduate or professional experience may be considered.

Working/Environmental Conditions

Limited standing and/or walking.
Handling light weight objects.
Using or carrying equipment.
Stoop, bend or lift.
May require routine travel.
May require working nights and weekends.
