Position Summary:

The Associate Dean for Online Lifelong Learning and Director of the Online Undergraduate Degree Program Implementation will lead UW-Madison's efforts to offer online undergraduate degrees with programs clustered in business-related majors launching in September 2021 and additional degrees to follow in subsequent years. Reporting to the Dean of the Division of Continuing Studies, and with the guidance of the Online Pilot Planning Committee, this position, in collaboration with the Provost, will lead and oversee cross-campus stakeholders and work teams to identify and execute programmatic and enrollment goals, including the launch of programs beyond the initial 2020 pilot degree and a plan for scaling to 4000+ students.

Degree and Area of Specialization:

Master's Degree required preferably in higher education or related field.

Minimum Years and Type of Relevant Work Experience:

Minimum 8 years of experience working in higher education is required, with relevant work experience in non-traditional and online education, establishing digital learning systems, developing institutional process and policies, working with alternative fiscal models, and working with cross-campus stakeholders to achieve high-impact institutional goals. Candidates with the following demonstrated skills are desirable:

** Online project and/or program management
** Demonstrated organizational knowledge and leadership, including leading high-impact initiatives
** Demonstrated experience working with program revenue programs and fiscal models
