Applications are invited for appointment as Post-doctoral Fellow in Quantum Communication Theory in the Department of Physics (Ref.: 503260), to commence as soon as possible for two years, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance.
Applicants should possess a Ph.D. degree in Physics or a related subject. Those with strong knowledge and publication record on the theory of quantum communication, particularly the security analysis of quantum key distribution would have an advantage. They should have a high level of self-motivation and excellent communication skills in written and spoken English. The appointee will work under the supervision of Professor Hoi-Kwong Lo.
A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits. At current rates, salaries tax does not exceed 15% of gross income.
