Computer and Information Technology / Master of Science in Technology

 

The School of Technology at Eastern Illinois University invites applications for a non- tenure track instructor position starting in August 2021, subject to available funding. A minimum of a Master’s degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or a closely-

related field is required, with preference to applicants who have industrial experience.

 

The successful candidate will be expected to be responsible for teaching undergraduate and graduate courses related to computer technology. A typical workload per semester will include 3-4 courses in classroom/laboratory. In addition, mentoring undergraduate and graduate students in computer technology related research, and contributing to the ABET accreditation process are expected. Commitment to diversity and inclusive excellence is required.
