Three year Assistant Professor in Residence, Department of Biology, Anatomy and Physiology
The Department of Biology at Bradley University invites applications for a 3-year Assistant Professor in Residence beginning August 2021. A Ph.D. in biology or a related field is required. Prior teaching and post-doctoral experience is preferred. The successful candidate will be expected to contribute to teaching courses in anatomy and physiology in the undergraduate curriculum. Other teaching responsibilities, based on candidate expertise, may include introductory cell and molecular biology, genetics, and general education courses. Applicants must be committed to undergraduate teaching for a diverse student population, emphasizing active learning and personalized attention in a liberal arts and sciences setting. Engaging undergraduate students in research will be encouraged, but not required. As part of the Department of Biology, the successful candidate will also be expected to participate in service activities. Mentorship focused on teaching and supporting undergraduate research will be provided by the department.
