Cranfield University is seeking a successor to Professor Sir Peter Gregson as Chief Executive and Vice-Chancellor. Reporting to the University Council, they will be responsible for ensuring the University continues its excellent trajectory and is recognised internationally as a leader in applied research and innovative education to enable organisations and individuals to unlock their potential and address current and future challenges.
The University is a specialist postgraduate institution, unique in operating at the interface of industry, government, and academia. Teaching and research are primarily carried out on the Cranfield campus in the Oxford-Cambridge Innovation Arc near Milton Keynes, Europe’s leading Smart City. There is also a specialist military provision at the Defence Academy of the United Kingdom, Shrivenham in Oxfordshire.
