Job Summary
This role is responsible for development and maintenance of integrations among university-wide software applications for new projects and services. The enterprise systems integration developer will also span system life cycles with an emphasis on architecture, automation and configuration, data flow expertise, integrations, monitoring, backups and sharing of data.

Job Responsibilities and Execution
- Develops and maintains integrations between university software systems and services
- Assists with the deployment of new enterprise systems and services
- Assists with maintenance of existing enterprise systems environment
- Assists with development of standard reports
- Conducts pre-implementation analysis and testing
- Assists with code review process with other enterprise applications staff
- Develops project plans for implementations and enhancements based on project management office guidelines and standards
- Assists with review of current and future systems and recommends business process improvements
- Assists with distribution of resources for programing projects
- Supports and maintains implementations of complex off-the-shelf components or applications requiring development
- Works with departmental subject matter experts to implement functional configurations to meet departmental needs
Service Excellence
- Assists with development of enterprise application training materials for students, faculty and staff
- Assists users with configuration changes to enterprise applications
- Provides systems support services to all of Lindenwood’s locations
- Works with end users to improve business processes focusing on automation and to troubleshoot and resolve error messages
- Supports the mission of the university and serves as an ambassador of the Q2 culture of service excellence
- Models, supports and holds others accountable to the university’s values – integrity, dedication, excellence, creativity and teamwork
Communication, Teamwork and Collaboration
- Communicates regularly with IT staff regarding project status updates
- Collaborates with both technical and non-technical staff to determine solutions to technology issues
- Maintains thorough documentation and training materials to transition projects to operational staff

Required Qualifications – An equivalent combination of education, training and experience will be considered. Additional requirements may be designated by position.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field
- Programming ability in PowerShell, Microsoft Power Platform, SQL, VBS, .NET, REST and SOAP web services
- Experience in higher education and/or state/local government preferred
- Experience documenting and analyzing processes, procedures and/or policies preferred
- Experience working with interfaces to and from electronic relational databases preferred
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities – May be representative, but not all inclusive, of the knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to perform this job competently.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse communities and cultures
- Functional domain knowledge of human resources, financial management or student information systems
- Knowledge of web services, XML, XSLT or other integration technologies
- Knowledge of Workday, PeopleSoft, SAP, Oracle, Salesforce, or other SaaS or On-Premise ERP systems
- Strong technical problem-solving skills, with an ability to troubleshoot complex technological issues both among colleagues and with end users
- Exceptional research skills and resourcefulness
- Strong planning, scheduling and organizational skills
- Skills in report writing
- Ability to thrive in rapidly changing and sometimes ambiguous work situations
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and engage supervisor as needed
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
