Position Summary:
An EKU Model Paraeducator II, under the direction of certified educators, perform a variety of skilled instructional functions pertaining to specific student skill development of both special needs and non-identified pupils. Through intense learning experiences, student supervision and academic performance documentation, the Paraeducator assists educators daily in supporting K-12 student growth, including independent classroom management and instructional services, and pre-service learning for EKU students.


Minimum Education:
Bachelor’s Degree.


Minimum Experience:
At least one year experience working with youth in an organized setting supplemented with some instructional experience in a classroom environment serving children and parents, preferably inclusive of special needs and multicultural students is required.
