Professor/Associate Professor/Assistant Professor in the Department of Marketing [Ref. B/425/09]

Duties:  The appointee is expected to make a significant contribution to research and teaching programmes individually and as a team member of the Department.  The appointee at Professor/ Associate Professor level is also expected to play an active role in the departmental administration.

Requirements:  A PhD in Marketing with research focusing on consumer behaviour, modelling, or marketing strategy.  Candidates specializing in marketing analytics are particularly welcome.  For the post of Professor/Associate Professor, a substantial track record of research and publications in top journals, an active research programme, and high-quality teaching are required.  (A good benchmark for the rank is a tenured Associate Professor at a strong research-oriented university in the U.S.)  For the post of Assistant Professor, demonstrated strong research potential is required.

Salary and Conditions of Service
Remuneration package will be driven by market competitiveness and individual performance.  Excellent fringe benefits include gratuity, leave, medical and dental schemes, and relocation assistance (where applicable).  Initial appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract.
