COUNSELING PSYCHOLOGY PROGRAM

The Department of Educational and Psychological Studies seeks applicants for an open rank Clinical Professor faculty position in Counseling Psychology to assist in managing and directing our on-campus training clinic. We have an APA accredited doctoral program in Counseling Psychology and a master’s program in Mental Health Counseling.  

Qualifications include a Ph.D. in counseling psychology; licensed or license-eligible as a psychologist in Florida; evidence of excellence in teaching and supervising masters and doctoral level students; program planning, implementation, and evaluation skills; and strong organizational skills. 

Primary responsibilities are working with program faculty in managing and directing all aspects of the clinic; teaching and supervising practicum students from each program; coordinating and overseeing the training and supervision of practicum students; securing and overseeing outplacement practicum activities; managing the clinic budget; seeking additional sources of revenue to assist in training and service delivery; ensuring compliance with professional legal and ethical guidelines and state and national requirements; and program development and evaluation. The Clinic is open on Saturdays and some evenings.
