Direct responsibility for dining operations including two residential dining units, student union food operations, retail locations, and central commissary and bakery; oversees dining personnel including interviewing, hiring, reviewing and retaining; prepares new and revised dining services and plans for facility renovations; develops and operationalizes budgets; administers operations relating to requisition, purchase, storage, and repair of foods, products, supplies and equipment; directs dining services administrative and managerial personnel in identifying, developing, and implementing new or revised operational policies and procedures; assists with the development and execution of the departmental strategic plan and policy development; conducts special operating analyses and prepares reports for University administration; establishes and implements marketing plans for sales of board contracts, dining dollars, conference and catering activities, and retail operations; and oversees of University identification card production.

Bachelor's degree plus at least seven years of leadership and management experience in a large food service operation required. Master’s degree and food service, retail and catering experience in a college or university environment preferred.
