The Division of Research Services at the University of Illinois College of Medicine Peoria is seeking a biostatistician to support the research conducted in the Department of Pediatrics. This position will be a faculty position in the Department of Pediatrics at the rank of Instructor. Responsibilities include helping faculty, residents and medical students design experiments, conducting statistical analyses and helping with statistical portion of manuscript preparation. Mentorship of students, residents and faculty in study design and good research practices. This individual will also serve as a liaison between the Division of Research Services and the Department of Pediatrics.
A PhD in biostatistics, statistics or related field is required. Experience with the analysis of clinical data and publishing in peer-reviewed journals is preferred.
