Applied Behavior Analysis/Special Education or Psychology (Assistant/Associate) – to teach Applied Behavior Analysis Master’s and Post-MA courses. Responsibilities include teaching; clinical research; thesis advising; and conducting research. The school is seeking faculty with the ability to provide students with a world-class graduate education in applied behavior analysis (ABA) that is sensitive to cultural, gender and sexual orientation differences and committed to the science of applied behavior analysis, with an emphasis on working within the autism community and professional development.

Qualifications: Doctorate degree preferred in Psychology or Special Education and a BCBA is required; BCBA-D preferred. Research and/or clinical experience in Applied Behavior Analysis is also required.

This is a ten-month, full-time, tenure-track assignment at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor, effective for the Fall 2021 semester. Teaching assignments and related responsibilities may include day, evening, weekend and online courses. Courses may be taught at the Union campus, Kean Ocean, Kean Skylands or other locations.

All tenure-track faculty are expected to demonstrate a commitment to teaching excellence and an on-going program of research and publication or creative and performance activity. Participation in curriculum development, student advisement and service at the departmental/school, college, university and community level is also required. Interest or experience in using advanced instructional technologies to improve the teaching/learning process is highly desirable. Proficiency in the Learning Management System, Blackboard and Online Learning Pedagogy is required, consistent with University guidelines. Kean may offer free voluntary Blackboard workshops to otherwise qualified applicants.
