Duties Performed in the Usual Course of the Job

The Sam Houston State University Department of Biological Sciences seeks applicants for a Visiting Faculty position in Cell/Molecular Biology. The successful applicant will teach upper-level electives in cell/molecular biology/biomedical sciences, and lower level classes as needed. This is a 1-year appointment with the possibility of renewal.

Educational Requirements for the Position

Ph.D. degree in Biology or related fields.

Experience Required for the Position

Demonstrated oral and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to work independently. Record of publication in scholarly journals.
