Position Summary:
The Department of Mathematics and Statistics at Eastern Kentucky University invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position in statistics at the rank of Assistant Professor beginning August 15, 2021. The successful candidate is expected to teach 12 hours per semester, including introductory statistics and graduate-level statistics courses; establish a record of scholarship and publication; and contribute to departmental, college, and university service. Review of applications will begin February 16, 2021, and continue until the position is filled.


Minimum Qualifications:
The successful candidate must have a Ph.D. in Statistics, Biostatistics, or a related area with a specialization or emphasis in statistics from a NECHE, MSCHE, HLC, NWCCU, SACSCOC, WSCUC, or ACCJC accredited or internationally recognized institution by the start of employment.
