The Virginia Commonwealth University School of Education invites applications for the full-time faculty position of Adjunct Professor/Assistant Tennis Coach. Responsibilities include the following: teach graduate and undergraduate courses in Department of Teaching and Learning, including Motor Learning and Performance, meet all designated course instruction guidelines, grade assignments and exams in a timely manner based on instructions/rubric provided, respond to student inquiries within 24 hours, and submit final grades according to School policy. Assist with coaching of the VCU men’s tennis team, including team and individual practices, tournaments and matches, recruitment of international student athletes, and fitness conditioning. The position requires a Master’s degree in Exercise Science or related and one year professional experience coaching tennis at a Division I program, demonstrating content knowledge in Exercise Science subject matter and knowledge of NCAA Division I regulations.
