THE POSITION: The Electrical and Computer Engineering Department at Rose-Hulman invites applications for a full-time visiting faculty position with an anticipated start date of November 2021. A start date of August 2021 may be possible pending department resource needs. The department offers two degrees, B.S. in Electrical Engineering and B.S. in Computer Engineering, both of which are accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of ABET and ranked as the top programs in the country for institutions without Ph.D. programs. We are looking for applicants with a strong commitment to undergraduate engineering education, including hands-on laboratory instruction.

Requirements include a doctorate or near completion in electrical or computer engineering or closely related field. We are looking for candidates from all areas of electrical and computer engineering who embrace the mission and vision of Rose-Hulman to join our collegial team of 19 faculty. The department and the institute place a high value on engaging students from traditionally underrepresented groups, and candidates from these groups are especially encouraged to apply. Candidates who can further broaden and enhance the educational experience of our students, especially with prior industrial experience, are also encouraged to apply.

The essential job responsibility is classroom and laboratory teaching of two to three courses in a ten week quarter for the 2021-2022 academic year.
