The School of Professional & Extended Studies (SPExS) invites applications for adjunct faculty to teach non-credit online courses for GRE preparation. GRE Test Preparation course offers 24 instructional hours on GRE test preparation. Students are provided with the textbook and two practice exams.

Position responsibilities include equipping students with the required skill set, facilitating online discussions, assessing student performance and preparing students to be successful in the GRE exam. Courses are synchronous, fully online, and offered over 8 week terms. Adjunct faculty are expected to hold online office hours, provide assignment feedback, and consult with the Program Director on the progress of the class.

Qualifications

Having taken the GRE is preferred but not required. Experience teaching GRE prep courses and/or teaching test preparation course online is also preferred. Should be able to teach each of the sections of the GRE exam. Availability to teach synchronous evening online courses is a must. Prior use of the Blackboard and Blackboard Collaborate platform as an instructor is a plus.
