Applicants are invited for appointment as Research Associate in the Department of Medicine (Ref.: 503191), to commence as soon as possible for one year, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance.

Applicants should possess a Ph.D. degree in Biological Sciences, Immunology or a related biomedical discipline, with at least 2 years’ post-doctoral experience. Hands-on experience in molecular biology, protein purification, flow cytometry, cell sorting and animal studies is essential. They should have a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese; and be highly motivated, attentive to detail, and able to work independently. The appointee will contribute to research in immunology-related inflammation and fibrotic disease mechanisms; conduct experiments; collect and analyze data; prepare reports and grant applications; and perform other duties as assigned.
