NATURE OF WORK: Middle Georgia State University is seeking a candidate for the position of Lecturer or Assistant Professor of Biology for the School of Health and Natural Sciences in the Department of Natural Sciences to begin fall 2021.  This position involves teaching, scholarship, and service. Teaching responsibilities may include day and/or evening, lower level and/ or upper level biology courses.  One position is available.  Travel from base campus to another campus (Macon, Warner Robins, Cochran and Dublin, GA) may be required.

QUALIFICATIONS: Master’s degree in Biology or related field with special attention given to the following areas of expertise: anatomy and physiology. For Assistant Professor rank and tenure-track status, the successful candidate will have a terminal degree in Biology or a related field, Ph.D is preferred.

SALARY: Commiserate with experience. Salary for 10 month contract is in the upper $40,000’s for an Assistant Professor rank, upper $30,000’s for a Lecturer rank.
