Job Description:

The Department of Business & Economics at Salve Regina University invites applications for a tenure-track position at the level of Assistant Professor with a start date of September 1, 2021.

The successful candidate will be able to teach courses in various topics in economics including Money and Banking, American Economic History, and Public Finance and Public Policy. In addition, successful candidates will demonstrate teaching excellence, industry experience, and a strong ability to successfully mentor and advise undergraduate students.


Requirements:

A Doctoral degree in Economics or a closely related field is preferred, as is successful college-level teaching experience. The university's teaching load is 3-4.

We seek a colleague who is committed to helping students build practical skills and whose experience, research and/or pedagogy will contribute to a curriculum that emphasizes experiential learning and integrates the university's Mercy mission.
