Assistant/Associate Professor

Southeastern Louisiana University Department of Kinesiology and Health Studies invites applications for a tenure track or clinical faculty position at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor available August 2021.

Instructional responsibilities include undergraduate and graduate courses in health education/promotion (e.g., epidemiology, health research methods, program planning and evaluation, worksite health, public health, population health, and other topics). Additional expectations include academic advising, engaging in scholarly activity, and providing service to the department, college, university, and community.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Applicants must have a doctorate degree specializing in Health Education/Promotion, Public and/or Population Health, or closely related field by hire date.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Preference will be given to candidates with CHES certification, university teaching experience, distance education experience, and evidence of scholarly productivity.
