Director, College Connection Experience

Montgomery County Community College invites applications for the Director, College Connection Experience position.  The Director of the College Connection Experience is responsible for the implementing and monitoring the College’s Title III funded College Connection Experience. The Director supervises program staff, oversees the budget, and is responsible for regular reporting and communication of program metrics.

 

*This position requires the candidate to obtain the PA Child Abuse, PA State Police, and FBI Fingerprinting clearances prior to their start date. 

*This is a temporary grant paid position and is contingent upon grant funding.

*Following Governor Wolf's announcement on March 30, the selected candidate will work remotely until further notice.  As the College re-opens the campuses, the selected candidate will transition to on-campus work. 

 

QUALIFICATIONS

Education/Training/Work Experience

  • Master’s degree in education, counseling, or related area required
  • 3 years of administrative experience in higher education, including direct supervision of staff
  • 3 years of experience providing educational programming, counseling, or advising services to students

Specialized Knowledge & Skills

  • Experience in budgeting for grant programs or academic units
  • Experience using performance indicators for measuring project success
