The Department of Supply Chain and Information Management in the School of Business at the College of Charleston seeks qualified applicants for a tenure-track faculty position in Information Management. Ideal applicants will have a background in the area of system analysis and design, technology innovation, and/or enterprise systems.

Responsibilities include:
• Teaching undergraduate and potentially graduate business courses in the area of MIS, including for example introductory courses in IS, courses in technology innovation, enterprise systems, or business analytics, using various instructional methods (face to face, online, blended).
• Developing new courses as they relate to the strategic objectives of the Department and the School by utilizing innovative teaching methods to enhance the success of diverse learners.
• Engaging in an active and ongoing research agenda that leads to peer reviewed publications and conference presentations.
• Participating in service activities, such as student mentoring and committee assignments.

Preference will be given to candidates that are enthusiastic, collegial, engaged with students, good communicators, and natural boundary spanners within (supply chain and business analytics) and across departments. Experience in one or more of the following is also a plus: R, Python, and/or SAP.

Requirements:
• Applicants must have a Ph.D. in MIS, or a closely related business discipline from an AACSB-accredited institution. Candidates should possess a demonstrated ability to teach undergraduate coursework and conduct quality research.
• The start date for a hired applicant will be Fall 2021. ABD candidates who have not completed a Doctoral degree by August 2021 will hold the rank of Instructor until they complete the degree, no later than August 2022.
