Job Summary

The University of Colorado High Energy Physics Theory group is encouraging applications for a research associate ("post-doctoral researcher") in all fields of HEP theory, including lattice field theory. The candidate will be encouraged to carry out research in HEP theory in collaboration with members of the group, with others, or independently.

Who We Are

The High Energy Physics Group at the University of Colorado conducts a variety of experimental and theoretical high energy physics research.

The Theoretical High Energy Physics Research Group explores the mathematical and theoretical nature of high-energy physics, including string theory and quantum gravity, lattice QCD and lattice studies of related systems as beyond Standard Model candidates, and phenomenology associated with potential new physics at the Large Hadron Collider.

What We Can Offer

This is a full-time, 100% research faculty appointment. The position will report to Dr. Ethan Neil, Assistant Professor. The initial salary will be $4,167.00 per month, equivalent to an annual salary of $50,000. In order to assist with relocation, we offer a one-time payment of $2,000.00 to be used as needed for moving and transportation expenses, paid in the first paycheck. These expenses will be subject to University policy and are subject to tax per regulations from the IRS.
