Gannon University, a Catholic university, invites applications for the position of Business and Special Projects Manager. Gannon is a competitive NCAA Division II institution and member of the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC). The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with the Athletic Department's overall day-to-day business operations, including but not limited to purchasing, business aspects of event management, ticket sales, and team travel. In addition, will assist with the planning and execution of special projects, such as but not limited to the hosting of post-season events, Athletic Hall of Fame, Homecoming, and much more. Understanding of and commitment to fostering an environment conducive to NCAA, PSAC, and University compliance is a must. Successful candidates must be able to support and promote the University's Mission. Qualifications include a bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, or related field; a minimum of two years of experience in a professional, high-paced business environment (preferably in a collegiate athletic or University setting). Must be a critical thinker; have excellent organizational and communication skills; and experience in successfully managing projects. Business knowledge combined with Microsoft applications experience are essential components for this job.
