Assistant/Associate Professor - Operations Management

The College of Business at the University of Lynchburg invites applications for a tenure-track position in Operations Management at the Assistant/Associate Professor level for fall 2021.  In addition to teaching operations management at both the undergraduate and the MBA levels, the ideal candidate will be able to teach statistics and project management, or will share in the teaching of the principles of management course and perspectives on business course.  We are looking for someone who enjoys teaching and who strives for teaching excellence in support of the institution’s liberal arts mission.  Experience teaching online is a plus.  Scholarship leading to peer-reviewed publication is expected.  A Ph.D. in operations management or a related field is required.  A candidate who also holds an MBA is preferred.  Selected candidate must complete a background check that is satisfactory to the University.
