The Department of Forestry and Environmental Resources at North Carolina State University invites applicants for a 12-month, lecturer/senior lecturer position and program coordinator for the undergraduate major in Environmental Technology and Management (ETM). This appointment is 50% teaching, 25% Advising, 20% Program Coordination, and 5% Service. The candidate will be expected to teach 3 undergraduate indoor/outdoor hands-on labs, advise students, manage teaching lab facilities, coordinate program assessment/outreach, and serve on relevant departmental and college committees. Requires master’s degree, an equivalent degree, or equivalent professional experience, plus at least five years college-level teaching experience, or other criteria as established by departmental rules.

Proposed Minimum Education/Experience
Lecturer- MS in Environmental Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Environmental Science, Environmental Technology, or related field.
Senior Lecturer- Requires master’s degree, an equivalent degree, or equivalent professional experience, plus at least five years college-level teaching experience, or other criteria as established by departmental rules.
