Job Description:
The Department of Civil and Mechanical Engineering is seeking a qualified adjunct to teach a Transportation Engineering course (CVE320) in the Summer '21 semester (17 MAY - 10 AUG). The adjunct professor of civil engineering will be responsible for teaching one section of a course in transportation engineering (CVE 320) taken by junior-level civil engineering students. This course provides an introduction to roadway design and traffic analysis. Topics include geometric design of roadways, pavement design, traffic flow theory, level of service analysis, and signalized intersection analysis.
Requirements:
A successful candidate will have a Master of Science degree or higher in an engineering or related field as well as either teaching experience, industrial experience, or both.
