Monday through Friday 8:15 – 4:30, with additional evenings and weekends.

Purpose of Position

This position will be a true collaboration between the Center for Student Inclusiveness and the Center for Student Engagement. This position will help break down silos and provide well planned and effective programming for all students at NKU . This position will also support underrepresented and minoritized student organizations and their success.

Primary Responsibilities

This position will advise the Activities Programming Board, National Pan-Hellenic Council, and Multicultural Fraternity and Sorority Life Council. This position will provide support and resources to all underrepresented and minoritized student organizations.

Qualifications

3 years experience in higher education in programming and working with fraternity and sorority life organizations.

Knowledge of university programming and strategic calendar planning.

Knowledge of student development theory and practice

Understanding of the current needs and experiences of college students and their social and educational programming needs

Familiarity with university administrative practices and procedures

Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills

Ability to function well and contribute to a dynamic and fast-paced environment that promotes teamwork, collegiality, and collaboration

Ability to multi-task and delegate

Proficiency with software programs such as MS Office. Experience with Presence and SAP is preferred.
