Position Announcement- Criminal Justice Lecturer

The Department of Law and Justice Studies in the College of Humanities and Social Sciences at Rowan University is seeking applicants to fill a lecturer position in Criminal Justice, to begin on September 1, 2021.

Responsibilities : Applicants must be able to teach different criminal justice classes at multiple campuses, including Rowan’s main campus, and the campuses of Rowan College at Burlington County (RCBC), Rowan College of South Jersey (RCSJ) and in Camden. Preference will be given to candidates able to teach upper level senior seminar sections and classes in criminal justice research methods. The successful applicant should have prior teaching experience and must be highly committed to departmental, college and university service. A 4/4 teaching load equivalency will be required.

Minimum Qualifications : Applicants must have, at minimum, an MA in Criminal Justice or a related field.

The College of Humanities and Social Sciences (CHSS) is the second largest college at Rowan University with seven departments, seven interdisciplinary programs, and fifteen majors.
